Processing purposes
Belga collects and processes customers' personal data for customer and order management purposes (including customer administration, order/delivery tracking, invoicing, solvency follow-up, profiling and sending marketing and personalised advertising).
Legal basis of the processing
Personal data is processed on the basis of article 6.1. [(a) consent,] [(b) (required for the performance of a contract),] [(c) (required for compliance with a legal obligation)], [(f) (required for the protection of our legitimate interests in doing business)] of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Transfer to third parties
If this is required to achieve the intended objectives, the personal data of the customer will be shared with other companies (of the Belga group) within the European Economic Area that are directly or indirectly connected with Belga or with any other Belga partner.
Belga guarantees that these recipients will take the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect personal data.
Storage period
The personal data processed for customer administration purposes will be stored for the period necessary to comply with the legal requirements (including in the field of accounting).
Right of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and transferability of personal data
The customer is at all times entitled to access his personal data and can correct it (or have it corrected) if it is incorrect or incomplete, have it erased, have the processing restricted and object to the processing of his or her personal data on the basis of article 6.1 (f), including profiling on the basis of these provisions.
Moreover, the customer has the right to obtain a copy (in a structured, common and machine-readable form) of his personal data and to request that the personal data is forwarded to another company.
In order to exercise the above rights, the customer is asked to:
Direct marketing
The customer has the right to object, free of charge, to any processing of his personal data for the purpose of direct marketing.
Complaint
The Client has the right to submit a complaint to the Commission for the Protection of Privacy (Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels - [email protected]).
Belga uses cookies to provide the services. Belga’s “cookie policy” is available on the Belga website.
